So many scars in so many places  It seems like every touch  Makes its own cut  Why is it that only my lips  Remain smooth

Unkissed  Two thin pink razors  Keeping everyone away  For fear of being cut  I promise they won’t  
But no one hears me  No one gets close  I don’t understand it  I can’t take it  In all this desperate loneliness  Maybe I’ll kiss myself  Once on each wrist  After all it’s better  Than going on unkissed

So emo...so emo...Doesn't everyone just want someone?  There is so much outside pressure and personal yearning to find someone.  A person you can hold, someone you can't get enough of, someone you enjoy spending time with.  
Someone you get along with so much you think they must be nothing but an amazing extention of your own being, but at the same time they're someone totally different and amazing, so much so you can't get enough of them.  A person who you can spend all day hanging out with, and after you say good bye their image is imprinted in your mind all night, where you wake up in the morning and cant wait to hear from them or see th So emo...so emo...
